“Shaping the Future”‌ ILIS 2025 will bring together four major international organizations—the United Nations Resident Coordinator’s Office in China, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
Experts from 18 countries and regions including China, France, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Uganda, Brazil, Egypt, Russia, Australia, Germany, India, Japan, South Africa, Somalia, Saudi Arabia, New Zealand, Ethiopia, and Hong Kong will give keynote speeches, sharing international cutting-edge technologies and their own country’s needs. ILIS 2025 will be a significant international gathering of high-level participation, diverse representation, and comprehensive scope.

International LAB Innovation Symposium (ILIS)‌
Launched in 2024, ILIS is dedicated to advancing global laboratory technology innovation and development. It serves as a platform for fostering collaboration on technical standards and industry integration, while building a smart laboratory innovation ecosystem.
The inaugural ILIS was successfully held in Shenzhen, China, from June 22–23, 2024, co-organized by the ISO/TC 336 Secretariat and the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province. The event brought together:
International experts from 11 countries, including China, France, Switzerland, the UK, Uganda, Brazil, Egypt, Russia, Australia, the Netherlands, and Germany.
Representatives from two global organizations:United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
Over 500 attendees from universities, research institutes, national/provincial laboratories, testing agencies, equipment manufacturers, and laboratory construction firms.
